Food Waste Control is a mobile application on iOS that aims to help users to track expiry dates of products and discover recipes based on what they have in fridge, pantry and freezer. Its most unique feature allows users the ability to scan receipts to input data.

When users log in, they are brought to their list of product categories. Once the users click on specific category, a list of stocked items show up that can choose to be deleted, thrown to trash, or already finished

Main Screen

Today expired items appears on the top left corner of the home screen. Users can choose to delete items if they don’t remember having used it or not. Otherwise, they can select to throw it away or already used.

Expired Items

Once users click on how they choose to finish the product, application will collect information and calculate the expected value loss to suggest saving tips. Users can share this information with other members.

Profile

Scannable feature allows users to input products by taking picture of items or receipts. Once photo is taken, keywords will be scanned and sort by name and categories.

Scan

Recipes is a cooking book that give users chance to use their products. They can find diverse recipes based on what they have. Along with that, they can add food directly to shopping list

Recipe

Groceries items can be manually added or saved while using Recipes. Users can cross off items by themselves or it will autocomplete after receipts are scanned.
